Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park
The black canyon is a wonderful place to hike and look for wildlife like mule deer, elk, and golden eagles. This canyon features a steep-walled gorge that was created by the Gunnison River. You can hike the trails (or drive) the north and south rims for breath-taking views of the Painted Wall cliff and Black Canyon's dramatic drops.
